VetWorking® is a program designed to help connect and grow Veteran-owned businesses hosted by the Government Contracts Practice Group at General Counsel, P.C.

The purpose of VetWorking® is to create connections for Veterans to work with other Veterans through referrals, teaming agreements, business relationships, employment opportunities, and networking.

VetWorking® also offers a unique environment where government contractors looking for SDVOSBs to team with can connect.

VetWorking® strives to provide Veterans with the information and resources you need to maximize the opportunities available in the Veteran community.  Our goal is to promote success through networking of fellow Veterans and by providing information and education.

VetWorking® is led by Lewis Rhodes, Chair of General Counsel, P.C.’s GovCon Legal Practice.  Lewis is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corp Reserves (and is quick to point out he is an infantry officer, not a JAG) and has a combined 27 years of service on active duty and as a Reservist, including combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.  As a veteran, Lewis takes special pride in representing veteran-owned businesses and has developed expertise in regulations governing VOSB and SDVOSB certified companies.  Lewis can be contacted at lrhodes@gcpc.com.
