Robert (Bob) Wolfson joined General Counsel, P.C. in 2023. His areas of practice include Estate Planning, Bankruptcy, Corporate and Employment Law, and General Civil Litigation. Bob has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of personal bankruptcy since 2022.
Prior to joining General Counsel, P.C., Bob was the managing attorney for the Virginia office of a multistate general practice firm. Before that, Bob oversaw the bankruptcy practice at Legal Services of Northern Virginia. Bob began his legal career as the law clerk to the Honorable Gerald I. Fisher, Deputy Presiding Judge of the Probate Division of the D.C. Superior Court.
Bob received his Juris Doctor with Honors from the George Washington University Law School, where he was a Dean’s Fellow and a member of The George Washington University Law Review. During law school, he worked as a legal researcher for the Counsel to the Court at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and interned at the Commercial Division of the D.C. Attorney General.
He is a magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University, receiving degrees in Political Economy and Classical Studies. Bob is married with two children, and resides in Fairfax, VA.
