Grace Clagett is an associate attorney with experience in litigation and family law.
Grace is a member of the Virginia State Bar. She received her Juris Doctor with cum laude honors from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. While at George Mason, she was a notes editor for the Civil Rights Law Journal, a board member of the Trial Advocacy Association, and a member of the Moot Court Board. While she was in law school, she interned at the Fairfax County Circuit Court for the Honorable Robert J. Smith. She also interned for a small law firm in Alexandria, Virginia that specialized in family law and criminal law.
Upon graduation, Grace clerked for the Honorable Stephen C. Shannon for one year at Fairfax Circuit Court. After her clerkship, she worked for Legal Services of Northern Virginia as a family law staff attorney representing victims of domestic violence in cases involving protective orders, custody, child support, spousal support, and divorce.
Prior to attending law school, Grace received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science from Virginia Tech. When she is not working, Grace enjoys hiking and going on long walks with her pug named Carl.
