Ms. McCormick is a recent returnee to the workforce after raising a son and volunteering in schools, hospice facilities and Scouting. She attended the University of Illinois and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising. After working at Tatham, Laird and Kudner in Chicago as a Media Planner, Ms. McCormick attended the Owen Graduate School of Business at Vanderbilt University. She completed her Master of Business Administration Degree and went to work for Fruit of the Loom in Brand Management. The highlight of her time there was managing children’s licensed products, including Batman and The Little Mermaid underwear.
With a desire to return to the workforce in an area other than marketing, Ms. McCormick attended Nashville State Community College and earned a Paralegal Certificate. She completed a semester-long internship with the law firm of Craig H. Brent, Esquire in Franklin, Tennessee assisting mostly with Family Law cases. At General Counsel, PC, Ms. McCormick is happy to assist with Family Law cases and to also work with attorneys in other areas of law. On weekends she enjoys cooking, exploring Old Town, Alexandria, and involvement in The Policy Circle, a nonpartisan, grassroots women’s organization.
