Kyle Barella practices business and personal immigration law at General Counsel, PC. Mr. Barella focuses on assisting foreign investors through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa Program. Much of his work includes filing I-526 and I-829 petitions, as well as I-924 Applications for Regional Center Designation.
Given the nature of the EB-5 Program, a significant portion of Mr. Barella’s work is EB-5 securities compliance. The remainder of his work focuses on other business immigration visas and family based immigration matters.
Mr. Barella comes to General Counsel, PC having run his own business immigration firm in Naples, Florida. He was a keynote speaker at the 2014 Florida Snowbirds Conference, where he spoke about US immigration options and consequences for Canadian nationals.
Mr. Barella received his Juris Doctor degree from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida, where he served as President of the Immigration Law Society. He received his B.A. in History from George Mason University, and studied Italian history and language at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.
Mr. Barella is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), American Bar Association, National Italian American Bar Association and the Chambre de commerce Québec-Floride. Along with English, Mr. Barella speaks Italian.
